- Politics and political problems are a subject for adults to deal with
I disagree. I think young people should also know about political problems because its important for us to know what is going on in the world around us as it will help us later on. For example it is important for me to know who to vote for when i am older because the people who are elected decide on the laws that control how we live.
- All stories can have a happy ending if those involved work towards it.
I disagree. Sometimes no matter how hard you work for something that you want to happen, things go wrong and don't go according to plan.
- Literacy (being able to read) is a form of freedom.
I agree because being able to read alot of doors open up for you in life. Imagine not being able to read all the stuff on the internet! You would miss out on a lot of opportunities.
- Civilizations without a written language cannot document history
I both agree and disagree. I agree that you need to document history and you need a language in order to do that. But you could use technology to record the human voice instead of writing it down.
